Sunday Stash #5

What a weekend!  It was a busy but fun one.  My dear friend Jessica came over and helped me clean and organize my sewing closet and room.  Lots of purging of fabric scraps I won't ever use again.  Some were completely forgotten about.  Wish I had taken a before shot.  There is an after shot though.

Shifting to Sunday Stash #5 - here it is all organized and put on comic book backer boards:

1/2 yard bundle of Dowry by Anna Marie Horner, my latest addition to my stash.  My kitty boy, Juice approves!

Look at those colors!  Oh! I love them!

Love!  I have no idea what to do with these yet... but that is half the fun, figuring out what to do with them.

These are the comic book backer boards that I used.  (Kitty approved!)  And here is a great tutorial about how to fold fabric and use the comic book backer boards by Angela Pingel of Cut To Pieces.

A closer shot of the size used.

Wha La!  My organized sewing closet!  (Okay, the notions cubby hasn't been done yet, but it will be!)

Linking up now to Sunday Stash at Molli Sparkles.

  1. Love that AMH bundle! I still haven't purchased any, but every time I see it I get a serious temptation going on. I have been doing the comic book boards too... LOVE them. My shelves look so pretty now! And your shelves look so pretty too!
