Super Bowl Sunday Stash #3

The Super Bowl of fabric destashing (and stashing!) is on Instagram #thegreatfabricdestash.  I am not sure if I love or hate the brain child that came up with this.   Just kidding, but seriously!

One of my all time fabric lines is Pop Garden/Bijoux by Heather Bailey.  I have quite the stash already.  I've made 5 quilts (one was doll sized), two crib mattress covers and chair pads from that line.  As you can see on my blog photo, my white kitty likes it, too.

When I saw this stash listed on #thegreatfabricdestash, it had to be mine!

The print right there in the center, oh yes!!  I have looked and looked but couldn't find.  And now I have it!  Bwaaahhaaaaaa!  (Um, fabric addict, maybe?)

In this stack that I got from Sara are a couple by Bonnie and Camille, Kate Spain (Verna) and the ones from Heather Bailey.  I already have a good sized stash of Heather Bailey.  I won't part with it.  Right now, I have no plans for it either.  I do take it out of the shelf and pet it from time to time.  (See above.)

Here is a pic of a quilt I made for my daughter on request about 2 1/2 years ago.  I made it before I had heard that curved piecing might be out of my league.  The quilting is my own done freehand on a Janome Horizon and a Project Runway Brother.

No, not a Super Bowl fan.  I will watch the commercials, though.  I will be hand sewing binding on another quilt I finished while the game is on.

Happy Groundhog Day!  I've heard we'll have 6 more weeks of winter sewing here. Linking up to Molli Sparkles!

  1. Love those bright, cheery colors! It's a grey and dreary day in my neck of the woods, so colorful fabric is a nice distraction.

  2. I love those bright bright bright Heather Bailey prints too -- so much fun. I only have a couple prints from that line, but I've used up all my favourites. Oh well... it's gotta get used sometime, right?

  3. Congratulations on your score! We could say you had a fabric touchdown?
