Lazy Sunday for WIP Wednesday

I have a bunch of WIP right now.  Because that's what quilters do, right?  A white board hangs in my sewing room to help me keep track of projects.  How do y'all keep track?

Well, I had a layer cake of Noteworthy along with some yardage that needed to be cut up and sewn into a quilt.  Several patterns caught my eye, but I eventually decided to do this one - Lazy Sunday Quilt by May Chappell.

It was fast to cut out and easy to piece.  The blocks are turned on point and that's something I have been wanting to do.  Right now, the top and backing are draped on the longarm waiting to be quilted.  Yay!

Looking forward to seeing all the other wonderful WIP's!  Linking up to Freshly Pieced.

  2. Very beautiful! I love this line of fabric! It's what I'm currently making my Swoon out of and it's turning out beautifully!

  3. I hate unfinished projects. I might even be a little obsessed with finishing projects. We were self employed for about a year once, and I finished every single unfinished project in my house, and vowed to not let them stack up again.

Would love for you to stop by tomorrow and link this up to Fabric Frenzy Friday!

  6. This is a great quilt! Sometimes I have a fabulous stash of fabric and don't know what to do with it; this pattern would be just the ticket.
